Your Status with God
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” - Romans 3:23
“The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.” - Ezekiel 18:20
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” - Hebrews 9:27
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” - Revelation 20:15
We cannot escape these facts. We were not born Christians, nor do we automatically go to Heaven upon our death. The problem is our sin - it stops us from having fellowship with God, and we will one day have to answer to Him for it.
“But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” - Isaiah 59:2
We are all sinners, far removed from God. But the good news is that Jesus Christ came into this world to save lost sinners!

What God Did for You
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” - John 3:17
“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” - 1 Peter 2:24
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” - Ephesians 1:7
The Lord Jesus Christ was nailed to a cross for your sins. He suffered pain, shed His blood and died for you that you might have your sins forgiven. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the only one whom the Father chose to be your Saviour.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” - John 14:6
How To Be Forgiven
Confess to God that you are a sinner.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” - 1 John 1:9
Repent of your sin.
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” -Acts 3:19
Believe (trust) on the Lord Jesus Christ.
“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” - Acts 16:31
Jesus died for you, was buried for you and rose from the dead for you! He will welcome you with open arms if you trust Him to save you. Is He calling you right now? Don't deny Him - answer Him. Tell Him that you now repent of your sinful ways, that you believe He died and rose again for you, and ask Him to save you.
